In this week’s video about mobile marketing and the holidays, I talk about three mobile marketing apps that everyone needs while traveling and while living in their home town.
The first mobile marketing app is called “Around Me” – Using the GPS in your smart phone or tablet device, you can get information on ANY nearby POI (point of interest) – Hospitals, parking lots, ATM, restuarants, etc.
This application goes to show that business’s need more than ever to correctly optimize their Google Places Listings or make one. The Around Me App was the first app to use the Google Location API as well as Google’s Dynamic mobile advertising.
See the video for the two other creative mobile marketing apps. The third mobile marketing app is one that every single parent needs. In fact I bet my parents wish that they had it back in the seventies and eighties while on all those cross country trips.
